Shane Mosley, born September 7, 1971, emerged as a boxing prodigy known for his exceptional speed and footwork. In August 1997, Mosley claimed the IBF lightweight title with a knockout victory over Phillip Holiday, marking the beginning of an extraordinary streak of 23 consecutive wins.
